Material Safety of Fork Farms' Flex Farm

Plastic Safety

All plastic components of the Flex Farm are made from materials that are FDA-compliant food-contact substances, meeting strict regulations set by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for food safety. These plastics are classified as food-grade and are specifically approved for direct contact with food, ensuring they do not leach harmful chemicals and are safe for use in hydroponic systems that grow fresh food.

Electrical Safety

All electrical components in the Flex Farm are certified by a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) and meet stringent safety standards. Specifically, some components are UL-certified, while others are ETL-certified. Both UL and ETL certifications are recognized by OSHA and demonstrate that these components comply with rigorous safety and quality requirements, ensuring the highest level of safety and reliability across the entire product.
