1. Kit Inventory

Please verify your kit contains the following items before beginning:

  • 4x Taller Rubber Bumpers

  • 4x Screws

  • 4x Washers

  • 1x Phillips Head Screwdriver

3. Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Disconnect and Separate

  1. Unplug the Light Tower from its power source.

  2. Locate the two metal buttons connecting the post to the baseplate.

  3. Press both metal buttons in simultaneously and pull the post away from the baseplate to separate them.

    • Set the light tower post aside in a safe location.

Step 2: Remove Old Bumpers

  1. Flip the baseplate upside down to access the bottom.

  2. Locate the 4 smaller rubber bumpers.

  3. Using the provided Phillips head screwdriver, turn the screw in the center of each bumper counter-clockwise to remove it.

    • Note: You may discard the old screws and bumpers or save them for other uses, but do not use them for this installation.

Step 3: Prepare New Hardware

Assemble the new hardware in the following order:

  1. Slide a new washer onto a new screw.

  2. Insert the screw and washer through the center of the taller rubber bumper.

  3. Repeat this for all 4 bumpers.

Step 4: Install New Bumpers

  1. Align a new bumper assembly with a threaded hole on the bottom of the baseplate.

  2. Tighten the screw clockwise until the bumper is snug against the base.

    • Caution: Hand-tighten until firm. Do not overtighten.

  3. Repeat for all 4 bumpers.

Step 5: Reassemble and Verify

  1. Flip the baseplate back over so it rests on the new taller bumpers.

  2. Reconnect the Light Tower post to the baseplate (listen for the metal buttons to click into place).

  3. Close the tank lid to verify that it now fully clears the tower and closes securely.
